<p>ed people don’t have to submit mid-year reports. i submitted mine oct. 17th, and the tab is still there. i know someone that goes to duke and they told me on friday that they heard decisions had been finalized</p>

<p>Nope! You don’t submit your midyear grades unless you are admitted/an RD applicant. </p>

<p>with all due respect duke, i think that you should follow suit with your ivy-league “friends” up north and post decisions on thursday (or even fri, sat at the latest). if you post them on thursday, you would speed up my week, GREATLY!</p>
<p>well it would make sense that they’re finalized seeing as most people think the e-mail is coming out tomorrow (i’m hoping so myself). i would think that they wouldn’t send out the e-mail unless they had the decisions ready.</p>

<p>In all likelihood, it means nothing. They’re probably doing some server maintenance for the upcoming stress it’s going to put on their system, and some things might be acting weird as a result. </p>
<p>Just in case, anyone want to make a thread to see who still has the review/update tab? Then we can compare to see if it meant anything in the end when decisions come. </p>
<p>It’s also possible these people just can’t find the tab or whatever which is dumb.</p>

<p>There is no way that Duke would give any hint towards the decisions of individual applicants before they’ve been released.</p>
<p>I don’t know…I’m thinking that since the decisions are finalized, they may already be entered into the system somehow.</p>

<p>Yeah, you’re probably right. My friend had to give me a talk today about how much I need to calm down and realize that a rejection from Duke would not mean the end of my life…it took a while for me to believe her :P</p>
