Duke 2015 ED applicants

Oops, I forgot that maybe I should post my info if I asked the question, haha. I’m from New Jersey and I hope to major in neuroscience.

@hgblue

Are you choosing neuroscience based on prior experience/aptitude or are you just choosing something you’re interested in? (I have no idea what I would pick for my major because I’m pretty even in all of my subjects and neuroscience sounds very interesting.)

@MW2isawesome

I have some prior history with neuroscience, but not much (only a summer course). I chose it as my potential major mostly because it involves aspects of both science and psychology.

Im from Charlotte, NC. Not completely sure about my major, but leaning toward Economics.

I’m from south Florida. I am hoping to major in psychology :)

I’m from Maryland, major in math for sure! Maybe double in Physics, but that’s a little ambitious.

DYING to know ahhhh less than a month guys!
i’m from massachusetts (hence my username) and i (think) i want to major in sociology.

exactly 3 weeks left untill decisions if they don’t come out early!!!

Any other Pratt hopefuls out there?

I’m from CA hoping to major in econ…but not 100% sure.

Pratt for materials science and double major in econ
Do they separate the Pratt/trinity applicant pools?

^ Yes they do

anyone a coca cola semi finalist?

^ I was! I’m applying RD though not ED.

I sent a post-interview thank you note to my alumni interviewer but I got no answer!!
I’m soooooo worried about this

^ What exactly did they ask during interviews? This question is for anyone who has had one.

@ TangentQueen

he asked –> 1. Why duke? (obviously…)
2. How did you know duke in the first place?
3. Why are you interested in this major?
4. Tell me about yourself

I think that was it. My interview only lasted for 30min… I’m so worried

My interviewer did not ask any of the questions I expected, it was completely conversational and lasted twice as long as expected. I wouldn’t be worried if it was short though, most interviewers have been through the ups and downs regarding applicant personalities.

Was it a Duke alumni or student who interviewed you guys?

I was interviewed by two duke alumni (married couple).

but…only 19 days!!! (at the worst!) AHHH!
