Duke admit percentage

Does anyone know or care to roughly estimate Duke's accept rate this year? Data from past years would we helpful too.

Just curious!

i'm assuming it was just a little bit lower from last year b/c last year had the most apps and this year had the second most
I was suprised that Duke didnt get over 20000 apps since it seems like every top school this year has gotten over 20000 apps

do you know what it was last year?

On the Duke News site http://dukenews.duke.edu/2007/03/admissions.html it says they offered to 3770 out of 19170 for the class of 2011. A rate of 19.666%.

Here's more... "This week?s mailing brings the university?s total offers of admission to 3,770 students, including 470 early decision applicants accepted in December. The university expects 1,665 of the accepted students to enroll this fall. The admissions rate of 20 percent is one of the lowest on record since the university began keeping track of data in the late 1950s."
