I was just admitted to Duke through early decision and am going to be a Bio Major. After looking at the department, I learned about the concentrations within the Bio major and am interested in maybe doing the Neurobiology concentration. So I would love to hear from current students if possible what it is like doing Neurobiology or a concentration in general.

@bluedevil11: I’m an alumnus, not a current student, but I’d like to offer a fellow Blue Devil a little advice. By all means, obtain as much information and as many opinions as you can. However, I urge you to enter Duke next August with an inquisitive, undecided, and exploratory intellectual attitude. CONGRATULATION, you’ve been admitted to one of the truly distinguished undergraduate schools in the world; seize this priceless opportunity to broaden academic and personal horizons. By all means, major in Biology, but please do so after LOTS of challenging and invigorating work in other areas (who knows, you just might discover additional disciplines that are equally stimulating?). There really is a reason Duke students don’t formally declare majors until their fourth semester . . .
