Have a passion for Haiti, I have been twice. The first time I interviewed a Child Slave, or "Restavec" for my senior project. I plan on presenting that interview to raise money for a school for these children in Haiti. The second time, I worked and played with kids in orphanages for street children, mentally/physcially handicapped children, and a hospital for babies.

I might have forgotten some EC's, but that's pretty much it.

Thanks!

You have reasonable shot. Alumni letters don’t help unless the alum is a big donor and writes to development, not admissions. Check to see if a grandparent makes you a legacy at Duke. If it does, your chances are much better.

I say that you have a solid chance at Duke ED. The only advice I can give is to improve your SAT II subject tests. Other than that, great EC’s and GPA. Goodluck :)

chance back please!
