<p>Duke is my dream school. I would be eternally grateful if someone would let me know if I have a shot at getting in RD. maybe ED if I feel spunky.</p>

<p>GPA Unweighted: 4.0 Weighted: 4.25
Class Rank: 1 of 140 or so
ACT: 34
GPA Junior year was 4.7 weighted
My school does not offer AP, so there's that. But we do offer dual credit:
US Government, US History, Calculus, Trigonometry, College Algebra, and freshman and sophomore English.
Likely National Merit Semifinalist
Governor's Scholar</p>

<p>Activities:
Marching band: 4 years Section leader two years and drum major two
Pep Band, Concert band: 4 years First chair flute (if that counts for anything) district band 4 years
Received Marine Award for Musical Excellence
Academic Team: 9, 10, 11, 12 Captain 2 years
Journalism/Yearbook: 10, 12 Academic Editor
Student Government: 10 President</p>

<p>Volunteer:
Spent approx. 60 hours designing school website
Tutor at elementary schools approx. 50 hours
Boys and Girls Club Tutor (paid): approx 20 hours
Flute lessons: 15-20 hours</p>

<p>Your ECs are a little bit generic for Duke, but your GPA and ACT are amazing. So I’d say it would be a high match</p>

<p>I’d say reach RD and low reach for ED, just because I’m of the mind that Duke is a reach for pretty much anyone. </p>
