the wait is killing me

I’m almost positive it is 7 EST

Oh great I have an early dismissal on thursday… more waiting time to kill…

Yeah I have semester exams the following week so my decision from duke is definitely gonna effect how well I do on exams :(

Trinity - Economics (name says it all)

By the way, where are you guys applying to if you’re not accepted? I’m trying to brace myself for the worst come Thursday. Rushing my essays now because I don’t think I’d be in any mood to write after I get rejected/deferred.

Just found out I have a performance that starts at 6:45 on Thursday… I won’t get off stage until 7:45 and I won’t be home until 8:00…

Does Duke superstore ACT? if not with they even take into account your subscores from separate sittings?

will*

Trinity-International Relations

@econsftw

my second choice is Dartmouth

goodluck guys!!

@julianic Well, at least that means that by the time you check, you’re less likely to deal with slow servers after 3000 or so applicants have already tried to rush onto the student portal at 7 PM to see their results.

@wr5587 The website states this: “For students who choose to submit the ACT with writing, Duke will consider the highest composite score and highest scores on each section, regardless of test date, but will not recalculate the composite score.” So no to superscoring, yes to considering your highest individual subscores/composite score.

For me, the results will be released in the morning. I won’t be able to sleep at all!

My second choice is Vanderbilt :)

second choice is johns hopkins

@julianic sorry, I’m actually not a singer at all. The Alto in my username is my childhood nickname.

Trinity - economics

I’m trying so hard to expect the worst so it’s less depressing:(

Trinity - international relations!
I’m going to be on a plane when the results come out :///

Trinity - neuroscience
So nervous/excited for results

Also do you guys know whether or not recommendation letters from alumni make a difference?

You mean the one from the interview, right? I assume that it can only help you, though minimally.

Yeah I heard is doesn’t play a big part in the admissions
