<p>Hi! Can anyone tell me if the Duke Dancing Devils Dance Team is super competetive to get on to or is it not that difficult to get on to? I am asking because my daughter has a huge cheer/dance background (won a national championship), has national television appearances, and more. She doesn't know if she should stress these in her EC's on her application as she has alot of other great EC's. If the Dance Team is very competetive and difficult to get on to then this would be helpful information to put on the application. If it is easy to get on to, then she will focus more on her other EC's. Thanks so much for any insight! :)</p>
<p>Check out some Dancing Devils videos on YouTube. You will find that they are talented dancers but getting on the team is not super competitive. If your daughter has a solid dance background and can perform the skills that they post as necessary for try-outs, she will be welcome addition to the team. In terms of her school application, she should highlight the EC’s that are most important to her and show her in the best light. Getting accepted to the University and getting on the dance team are completely independent of one another.</p>
