i heard that for triples, you actually get a bathroom in your room but you have to clean it yourself whereas doubles you share the bathroom with the whole floor but there's someone to clean it for you? am i right??

no. you only get a private bathroom if you're in wilson.

Are triples apartment style?

wilson is suite style -- i don't know how many separate rooms to each suite though (i'd say at least three people, but i never hung out there).

regular triples are three people one rectangular bedroom no bathroom.

I heard wilson is suite style with 2 doubles and a bathroom in a small private hallway. Never really been there so I can't confirm.

I'm considering a triple, as it is $500 cheaper or so, but I have a couple questions:

-Is it a bigger room? Or does it seem crowded with 3 people in it?
-Do you think it's a lot harder to be living with 2 other people than only with 1 other person? (the one advantage I can think of is now you have 2 chances to like your roommate, but you also have two chances to hate them...)

Anyone who has experience with this?

It's definitely a bigger room, but I remember thinking it wasn't that much bigger. IIRC, on paper a triple is only around 250 sq. ft while some of the larger doubles can easily reach 220 sq. ft.

I honestly don't think I'd mind having a single, double, or triple...would it be wise to write "no preference" under both "Do you want a single?" and "Do you want a triple?"

At the moment I'm leaning to a double but I'm thinking if I got assigned a single anyways I wouldn't mind all that much.

it is kind of crowded w/ 3 people ... also, i wouldn't count on getting any studying done in that kind of situation ... it also sucks to be the 3rd roommate to arrive during move-in haha
