On the topic of interviews: I am an RD applicant who was contacted by my interviewer about 3 weeks ago (iirc).

The counselor does not release them until December for a reason—she waits to see if the school will request them first. There were three students who applied Duke ED and they only requested my son’s. It’s a small charter school that has many that get into T20 schools every year.

Typically, Duke ED decisions are released the week before Christmas - on a Thursday at 7pm.
My guess is December 16, 2021 at 7pm will be the date for ED results. Good luck to everyone!

Duke requires 1st quarter grades for ED applicants. That is surprising your school did not send them for everyone in October/Nov. It is too difficult to speculate what it means given that Duke probably has them for the vast majority of other ED applicants.

In prior years, they send an email a few days before the decision announcing when the decisions will be out:
2023: email Monday Dec 10th that decisions would be Thurs Dec 13th;
2024: email Monday Dec9th that decisions would be Thurs Dec 12th;
2025: email Tuesday Dec 15th that decisions would be Fri Dec 18th;

And , copied from the 2023 thread:
2017 - Class of 2022 - released Thursday, 12/14
2016 - Class of 2021 - Wednesday, 12/14
2015 - Class of 2020 - Thursday, 12/10
2014 - Class of 2019 - Thursday, 12/11

I got accepted to Duke December 1st, but they did not mention any ED decision release date sadly.

Portal now says ED announcements will be on Dec 16 at 7pm.
