Same region then!
it j said they were releasing decisions on december 18th, 2020 at 7p.m and said financial aid will also be visible the. They said you can view ur decisions when u log into ur account through the view update area. They also talk about making sure ur account is activated and stuff.
So basically it is the same exact thing as what the portal said, but just through email?
yup! and they j gave u info about ur account in case u didn’t create it yet
i’m from WA state, applied with a test score, have not gotten the email yet
i’m from western nc and got the email at 5:03
Could the emails be potentially based off of whether you applied to Trinity or Pratt? Or has that already been discussed and disregarded as an explanation?
for reference I applied to trinity TO and got the email
I applied to Trinity w scores and got the email at 5pm. The same thing was happening to ED applicants to Vanderbilt yesterday and it turned out that a lot of emails bounced so a good amount of them ended up getting them a day later so I wouldn’t worry too much!!
I applied Trinity with test scores and did not get it
its probably random then, maybe more emails will come out tonight or tmr
i applied to trinity TO and got the email
I also applied to Trinity with test scores and didn’t get the e-mail
Same here, Trinity with test scores and no email
I applied Trinity with test scores – got email around 5:03PM. it could just be random. do you guys know after the portal release decision info, will Duke send emails to individual email account as well to notify with the decision info?
what would be the latest time that the second group got the email? 9 est?
On one of the forums there were people talking about kids last year who got some emails around 10 EST, so idk to be honest
please post if anyone gets email today after like 5:04pm
I was viewing the Vanderbilt ED1 forum and they had the same problem over there. Multiple students emailed their AOs and discovered that their AOs had emailed them regarding the decisions date, but there was a technical issue with the server resulting in emails bouncing back. To truly make sure this was the case, I viewed the profiles of two different students who did not receive the email; one student got in, whereas the other student got rejected. I’m sure the same is for Duke. I truly believe that the AOs are smart enough to know not to handle the emails in this degree and it is in fact, a technical error.
I’m from MS as well. I received the email at 4:04 PM CST so 5:04 EST. The whole state has the same AO I believe.
