<p>4.0 GPA, 2250 SAT I (800 M, 700 CR, 750 W), 800 790 780 750 SAT II, decent essays, good recs, no interview, 600+ hours of volunteering in various medical things, worked over the summer as an assistant EMT, Indian male $250,000+, no hooks, live in the middle of nowhere so could not get an interview</p>

<p>Haha thank you. I hope that I get in so badly, but I have no great hooks or anything. I’m not valedictorian or salutatorian or participated in anything on the national level (live in the middle of nowhere) but I’m hoping.</p>

<p>My WHY DUKE essay was um…two paragraphs, not too long. Meh. </p>
<p>With my slightly sub-2000 SAT Score, I guess that’s like an instant RED FLAG, so I guess I am already rejected. I know my SAT Score is not the only factor in admissions, but…sigh.</p>

<p>sleepdeficit, do you live on the island or the peninsula? Kowloon is my favorite place to just hang out and people-watch. </p>
<p>My daughter hasn’t been stressing out (outwardly) too much about the decision. Last night at dinner, she glanced at the clock and quietly announced “25 hours”. Then she baked Christmas cookies.</p>
