Duke ED Class of 2022, ACT scores?

Hi! What are good ACT scores to get in early decision?

Looking for help from people who got in this year!

Your chances seem very good considering your GPA and URM hook. Definitely apply ED with legacy. Your ECs are also strong but lacking in leadership positions. I would also try for some awards if possible. Definitely recommend talking about your multicultural identity in supps or personal essay. ACT is good but I would recommend retaking for at least a 35 especially if you don’t have a low income bracket (>$40000). Maybe try the SAT too? If you applied with just those stats I would say 30-40% chance of getting in.

I didn’t apply but from the people I know that got in early decision they all had 35 or above on act except for one girl who had legacy and got in with a 2100 SAT so about 32 ACT.
