chances??? thanks!

Test scores are really dragging you down. If you can’t get those up, it’s going to be an uphill battle.

And your extracurriculars are pretty average.

Grades only get your foot in the door. Those essays had better be great.

I agree with the above post. ^

Both your SAT and your ACT scores are around the 25th percentile of students admitted to Duke. If you could get either of those up, then you may be able to avoid an adcom reading your application and wondering whether you’d be able to handle Duke’s rigor.

Also, your extracurriculars seem lackluster to me. Perhaps you may be able to bring more significance to them through your essays?

I would say your chances aren’t too great. With low test scores it will be hard. Unless you demonstrate some passion in your application or have some incredible stuff that you didn’t share it will be hard.

Duke is an uphill battle for you. Give it a shot, but add some match schools and be sure to have a safety. Best of luck.

A 2030 is a great test score, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Is it the best? No. Is it the worst? Definitely not. Try using parchment.com for your chances. I would say Duke ED is a match/ low reach for you. Just work hard in your application and I believe you should be fine (I am not an expert, so DONT take my word for it).

Try to get your scores up to a 2200/34 just to get a better chance at Duke, but your scores are pretty good right now. Your weighted GPA is a little low for a 4.0, so make sure you take a challenging courseload this year and you should be fine with strong essays and recs.
