Duke engineering too high for me?

I'm applying to Pratt. Most probably Computer Science. In my essay I wrote about Duke's excellence in research(funding especially). Essay really shows my interest in Duke.

How do you rate my chances for Pratt?

I think all I can say right now is that you have to go for it. I am a freshmen this year, and I do not have one of those extraordinary applications, but I got accepted anyways. My test scores and GPA are a little higher than yours, but I have met others whose grades are lower than yours. Just be confident and spin off a great essay since that's all that you can do right now! Good luck!!

u cant do computer science in pratt, thats in trinity

yeah, i wouldn't apply to pratt and state you want to do computer science. computer science is in the school of arts and sciences - trinity. pratt only has 4 majors and all of them have the word "engineering" in in them.

otherwise, your chances for pratt are average - i'd say equal chance of accept/reject.
