IN terms of admissions, which undergrad school is easier to get into? I am curious bc I am applying as a biomedical engineering major and I don't know if I should apply as a biology major into the arts and sciences school instead. I would appreciate some insight :)

biomed is extremely tough to get into. The girl at my school who applied was top in a lot of things and got deferred.

however, they still want to see your intended major correlate with what you do. If you have shown passion for biomed engineering, there's no reason for you to apply to anything else and could even hurt you if you do.

Would a regular biology or even english/history major be easier?

apply as something you've shown passion for. If your major seems out of the blue and random, the admissions committee will be able to see through the bold-faced lie.

Maybe I'll apply to the arts and science school then
I've heard different opinions from people
its disconcerting

well, you don't have to.
I'm just saying that if you are editor in chief of the school newspaper, student-english advisor to the english department at your school, and wrote a novel at the age of 16 and you apply as a BioMed Eng major, you're going to get shot down.

Well, I have a lot more science/math/music stuff than english

then go for it.
you never know.

Maybe I will

Lol. I have the exact same dilema. But they say that you can diversify with biomedical engineering, so you should probably choose biomedical engineering (I'm going to do the same).

If you have very high stats: 760 or higher for CR and Math SAT 1 and for SAT2 chem and physics, admission to Pratt is less capricious.

What if less?
than the arts and sciences college
