<p>They reserve like 15% of their entering class every year for ppl from the Carolinas (N and S)</p>
<p>or maybe its just NC, not sure... its not a big advantage I'm guessing cuz theres prob a lot more apps from their home state</p>
<p>Yes, there is definitely an edge. There are also many scholarships for Carolina residents, including the B.N. Duke. </p>
