Last week, I received an email from a Duke alumni who asked if this coming weekend would be a good time for us to meet. I emailed her back the same day with my response that I was free to meet, and I asked her for a convenient meeting place. However, she did not reply to my email, so I sent her another yesterday, which she has also not replied to. I've had alumni interviews before and I know that interviewers are typically respond to emails promptly, so this has me slightly confused. What do I do if this weekend comes and she doesn't email back? Thanks in advance.

Check your email often. She might respond at the last minute to arrange a convenient time and meeting place. If she doesn’t email you by Sunday night, send a follow up to reschedule.

Worst case would just be rescheduling the interview some other weekend. Relax! To be honest, interviews count very little toward your application. Good luck!

don’t worry about it, if she doesn’t reply, it won’t affect your application negatively. Be sure to check your spam folder though, some of my interview emails ended up in there for some reason.
