<p>S had not specifically signed up for an interview but did get a call from an Alum asking if he wanted to be interviewed. Is that normal for Duke i.e. all applicants are contacted by an Alum? or is this based on something from the admission office to the Alum?</p>
<p>All applicants are contacted by an alum if an alum is available.</p>
<p>The admissions office will try to schedule an interview if at all possible. No need to sign up. Of course they want enough time to organize it all, so that’s why they have a “suggested” deadline.</p>
