Quick question about the Duke Application.
I just got a brand new counselor who is the most amazing person on earth. She says to really show my interest in my number one dream school (Duke), I should use the schools own application, not the Common App. Problem is, i already sent the Required Pre-Application to the common APP in for the Dec 1 deadline for the interview. Is it a bad idea to switch to Duke Application from this point on and just turn in the completed Duke application, including Form A, which is the counterpart to the Required Pre-Application even though Duke said to be "consistent" in which application type you send.

i don't think that using Duke's own application will set you that far apart as an applicant, but I don't see how there could be a problem with the way that you are doing it.

-_- Frankly, I'd think they'd dislike you more for trying to switch forms, than like you for using their own app. Since you've already sent into the Pre-App, just stick with the common.

i agree...bad idea to switch.

i did common app and got in. they don't care. really.
