I was just about to post about this. I was wondering how people felt about the move. At first I was apprehensive because it might make the University seem commonplace and subsequently diminish it’s prestige (of course not but much) but now I see this as a very smart move on the University’s part. Increasing the University’s global footprint while providing access/greater University resources to undergrads wanting to study abroad probably would benefit Duke in the long term. If it happens that DKU doesn’t work out, the only thing lost on Duke’s part is money.
