What does Duke consider when evaluating if one is a legacy or not? Would having a cousin and uncle go there count?
“A legacy student is an applicant who has grandparents, parents, or siblings who have attended or are attending Duke.”
As an alumni interviewer, I have seen it noted once when an applicant had an Aunt that attended Duke so I guess they still might keep track of it, but doesn’t put you officially in the “legacy bucket.”
It does if the Aunt was a big donor.
Ok, thank you for replying.
