<p>Brown, UChicago, and Duke are all very different in terms of atmosphere and social scene…if you’re considering all three, you clearly have not done your homework.</p>
<p>brown, duke, and chicago really are aren’t different parts of the spectrum. but that definitely does not mean you can’t apply to all of them. i am applying to many schools that are different as well (duke [robertson] and brown [plme] are own my list, in fact). haha i didn’t answer your question at all, but whatever…</p>

<p>I’ve heard UChicago can be pretty serious. A common saying is “Chicago, where fun goes to die.” But I’m not knocking it. It’s a really good school. Just not a fun fun party all the time one.</p>
<p>I don’t think UChicago and Brown are terribly different, depending on what you’re looking for in a school. I both really liked both of them when I was applying.</p>
