GPA: 5.0/5.4 (converts to a 3.9 out of 4.0 scale)

Is a third SAT II necessary for Duke or Brown

ECs

JV Basketball and Lacrosse captain

Basically my top three choices (I guess you can say my reaches but I don't like calling them that because that implies that there is little chance that I will get in) are Penn Duke and Brown. I am a legacy at Penn and pretty much Penn takes legacies IF they apply ED and are at par with the rest of the applicants. I wanted to know if theres chance of me getting into Brown or Duke because if there is not then I will apply early to Penn. If there is then I will apply RD to Brown Duke and Penn (and of course match/safetys). As you can see I am pretty occupied and dont really have time to retake the SATs. Suggestions from now until November 1? Thanks for your time.

wouldn't your gpa be a 3.7???

I dont know, my guidance counsellor said it would be equal to a 3.9 on a 4.0 scale, my school is weird.
I forgot to add that I go to a large class of 700 kids well known public school and I'm ranked in top 10%. (no rankings)

If you just set up a simple proportion

5.0/5.4 =x/4.0 you get x = 3.7, so just to shed some light, if that is right, and why is you GPA system out of 5.4?? That’s weird, lol.
