DUKE or CORNELL or NORTHWESTERN?

I got into the above colleges but am not sure which one to choose!

I was admitted for the following courses:

Duke- Biomedical Engineering
Cornell - Mechanical Engineering
Northwestern - Mechanical Engineering

I am still however not sure what course I want to do at college.

I visited Duke last summer and really liked it but I am hesitant seeing that I have an ivy offer from Cornell(is the reputation really better?) . Even though I applied for biomed at Duke, there is a chance that I might switch to Mechanical engineering.

It is also possible that I completely abandon engineering and go into Economics.

I intend on doing an MBA in the future and want to be in a undergrad college that will give me a good placement in graduate school.

Is it necessarily easier to get into Kellogg if you do your undergrad at Northwestern?
Is it easy to switch from a School of Engineering to a School of Arts and Sciences (especially at Duke?)
Which one should I choose?

Any comments are very much appreciated! Thanks!

Duke's Biomed is second in the country, and if you decide to switch their other programs are very, very strong as well. Also, even with the academics, Duke has very strong sport programs (even though they sucked this year haha) that spikes the social life there.

My vote goes to Duke.

Yes, I agree with going to Duke. Even though Cornell is an Ivy Duke is higher in the ranks. Also, Duke has a nice atmosphere/ "culture."

The only real big difference are locale, weather (NC is a bit warmer than Il and NY) and size (Cornell is about twice as large as NU and Duke).

Cornell has the typical college town in the boonies thing going, Durham is a small-mid sized city and Evanston is a small city (kind of a mixture of a suburb/city with its own downtown) adjacent to a large city, Chicago.

I think Cornell will be a better choice for Mechanical Engineering if you are planning to move to Mechanical at Duke.

But I think the right choice is to do Biomedical at Duke from a career perspective.

fyi:

Sam Lee,

would you know what the top 5 schools are for undergrad biomed engineering and undergrad Economics?

USNWR needs to disappaer.
