<p>Duke. It’s BME is more established and recognized. Graduates do very well (though the program is intense).</p>

<p>If cost isn’t a major issue, then Duke is the runaway choice. It has the much stronger program in your program of study, has a stronger overall academic reputation and will generally provide you with a better undergraduate education. Duke and UVA have a lot of social similarities so I really can’t think of a reason why you would go to UVA in this case besides COA</p>
<p>I agree with the rest. The campus cultures at those two universities is similar and UVa is not an Engineering powerhouse while Duke is excellent in BME. Unless cost is an issue, I think Duke is the obvious choice here.</p>
