Who are top employers to each of these departments?
I am mostly interested in CS. Do top companies like Google, FB, and others hire from Duke? Do any current students know anyone like that personally or have interesing stories to share?

I extensively mentored a Pratt '02 CS/EE who successively went to Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works, Harvard Business School, Google, Oculus, and Facebook – moving into progressively more responsible positions with each job change. I hope that’s pertinent to your question.
@TopTier I am sure there are cases like that from every school. I am sure the University of Kansas has also had at least one such graduate. And plus, '02 will be 17 years from the time I graduate, with a '19. Things have changed a lot in the technology world since 2002. So, I was asking for
a) a more comprehensive scale (not specific cases)
b) a more recently pertinent example
Thanks, though.
Of course, you could always call Duke’s Career Center and ask questions regarding placement, recruiting, etc., instead of asking individuals on CC for opinions and experiences; they are the experts.
Check out the individual department’s websites for “where our graduates go” for a sampling. Here is ECE: http://www.ece.duke.edu/undergrad/where-students-go
Also, look at the Duke career center website for which companies recruit at Duke. Given that Microsoft, Google, and other tech companies are often in the top 10 of all employers for ALL Duke undergrads (as well as Goldman Sachs, Citi, Deloitte, Accenture, Teach for America), I think it’s safe to say that top tech companies are well represented by Duke graduates and undergrads are heavily recruited.
Duke was ranked as the #5 feeder to Silicon Valley in 2013 nationwide, impressive considering it’s geographic location and it not having an overly large CS dept:

Hope that helps.
@bluedog Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
