<p>Does going to the summer Duke TIP program (for high school students) add anything to an application? Does Duke look favorably upon it? What other things should one do with their summers?</p>
<p>It wouldn't hurt, but it probably wouldn't help much either. I suggest working (whether it's a job or an internship, or do some cool project or research program).</p>
