<p>Does anyone know what minimum GPA I should try to get this year in order to have a shot at transfering? </p>

<p>I don’t want to give you a GPA cutoff since there is none and it would just be a random guess, but transferring to Duke is hard, to be honest. They accept the top students at the top schools - not many people transfer out of Duke after freshman year, so they can’t accept many to transfer in. I think the acceptance rate is below 10%. Just do your best. 31 on ACT might be a bit low, too, but isn’t terrible. Just write solid essays exhibiting a lot of interest. Good luck!</p>
