Duke/unc

The post I'm replying to is way up there...BUT

I keep hoping bsbllallstr8...but we shall have to see.

I kind of expected a loss, to be honest, but the WAY that we lost was just PAINFUL. In a neutral environment, we will beat them, as bluestar said.

It hurted but you got to admit that May and Felton are amazing at times. This does not hide the fact that the general consensus around campus is that Sean May still eats babies. But that's his problem and he should take care of that. By the way, bluestar...what floor you on in Pegram. I'm in Pegram too, we probably know each other.

duke25, that is not very nice! just because sean may is chubby doesn't mean he eats babies. you sicko.

just kidding, i had that on my away message too. ;)

wow.. that's who duke accepts? hehe..

Sean May doesn't go to Duke, if that's what you're insinuating...

Sean May eats babies?!?! Aww, that's not nice, seriously. He can't help it that he still has baby fat - he already looks better this year since he lost 20-some pounds.

Trying to stay nonpartial here...I applied to both schools :</p>

UNC is going to beat duke on neutral territory. They only lost at cameran indoor by 1 and duke thrives on their home court. don't forget unc won yesterday without rashad mccants.

GO TAR HEELS!!!

(i applied to both schools actually but i just like UNC bball better)

and duke still put up a valient effort without sean dockery?

yes, b/c sean dockery is obviously as good as rashad mccants

sean dockery........rashad mccants
6.5, 3, 2.3 21 3ptm vs. 16, 3, 3, 50 3ptm

duke should've won, they just choked at the end.

don't get me wrong i have respect for duke they are an elite team im just a bigger heels fan.

Doc was beyond important to Duke this season. Probably on par with how important McCants is with UNC. Numbers don't even come close to telling the whole story. We needed a good point guard/free throw shooter yesterday in that last minute.

well, since we're in the duke forum, we're allowed to delude ourselves.

I think both teams are at such a level that the outcome is going to be unpredictable (if they even meet in either tournament). If Duke comes in on a hot streak, they could blow right past UNC. If JJ is cold or if Sheldon fouls out early or something, UNC could put us away. They wouldn't meet until the finals of the ACC tournament, but if they both make it, it will be a fun game to watch. Personally, I think they both will make it. I really think that Duke can probably beat Wake (again, if both teams make it to the matchup, and in the ACC nothing is guaranteed). They BARELY beat us on their own court (by 1pt) and we pretty much killed them at Cameron, they put up some points at the end to make it look closer than it was (still won by 10).

AHHH
Look what this school did to me! I didn't know ANYTHING about college basketball before I got here.

So, BigRed, if you get into both which one would you choose, UNC or Duke?... did you apply to cornell?

I'm not really sure. UNC and Duke are both great schools but Duke doesn't have an undergrad b-program (which is what I'm looking forward) plus UNC is a lot cheaper than duke, not that money is a problem for me, it would just be nice if i could save some. And yes i applied to cornell, i got deferred to CALS.
