Hi, I was wondering if Duke has good business programs (if any). Thanks :P

dukes undergraduate econ program was recently ranked number 1 in the country

What about other business concentrations, such as finance?

While Duke does not have an established undergraduate business program, the Markets and Management certificate is really good for preparation for several fields in business. Please research: <a href=“Certificate Program | Markets Management Studies”>http://markets.duke.edu/certificate

The “business” classes are offered through the economics department…see course list here: http://econ.duke.edu/undergraduate/courses Outside of the classroom you can check out DuHatch, the Start-up Challenge, and check out the growing Innovation and Entrepreneurship center https://entrepreneurship.duke.edu/ These organizations connect with the Fuqua School of Business (both students and faculty) so you have access to some of the best resources while still an undergraduate. I do not know if there is a formal business degree, but there are exceptional opportunities in this space.

There is no formal Bachelor’s Business major although, as @Jwest22 indicates, the M&M Certificate is VERY popular – and highly successful – among undergraduates. Decades ago, Duke had a Business major, but the MBA accreditation agency required its termination when Fuqua was established (standard policy, for non-grandfathered MBA programs).
