Duke v. Dartmouth

<p>So i have four choices - Duke, Dartmouth, Emory and Swarthmore (and my state school)</p>

<p>so far i crossed emory off the list (financial reasons) and swarthmore (fit reasons)</p>

<p>im torn between duke n dartmouth help!!! what would you choose and why?</p>

<p>i have a lot of info on both schools but im still not sure. duke is much closer to home though (im in florida)</p>

<p>ps - the financial aid package from dartmouth is significantly better (10k more) but i am sending appeals to both schools.</p>

<p>both are great schools. but i would much rather be in the warm south at Duke than the freezing cold at Dartmouth. plus Duke has the basketball</p>

<p>Not sure why Swarthmore was a bad fit, but Dartmouth is much more like a LAC than Duke.</p>
