I got into both and I still can't decide between these too.
Overall Duke is definitely more prestigious than NYU, but Stern is like one of the top 5 undergrad business schools in the States; besides, NYU has the advantage that it's located in NYC which is the best place for business and global issues...North Carolina might be too far from everything, new information, opportunities, and other stuff.
The fact that I got into Stern's best program BPE is another reason why I can't choose between them.

Any advice?

If you are interested in a major in Finance (NYU specialty, ranks #2 in country) or Accounting (Another big NYU focus), I would definitely go to Stern over Duke. However, for anything else, I’d say Duke is a better place to go.

Also, academics aside, you should factor in what your are looking for in terms of college size and surroundings. NYU and Duke are almost complete opposites in this sense. This might help in reaching a decision :)

What if I say I’m still unsure of what I want to do in the future and maybe I would go on to law school if not MBA? I would like to know which one opens me to more choices and opportunities…
