duke vs cornell vs amherst vs nyu stern

<p>Stern? Wear a suit to class, take my life way too seriously, not have a real college experience, and get the same job that I would have gotten from a much more balanced school like Duke, Amherst, or Cornell? No thank you.</p>

<p>My first response to the subject heading is any of them except NYU-Stern. Do students really wear suits to class (even in the age of business casual, no less) there? You have your whole life to live in a city but only four years to be part of a collegial community of 18-22 year olds.</p>

<p>From my perspective, NYU-Stern also does worse in job placement and grad schools than the other three, or at least it did in my IB analyst class and MBA class. The same individual who is able to go to any of these four may come out the same but your peers at NYU will be less successful and accomplished.</p>
