I'm looking into a career in business but also want to be able to keep my options open for med school or law school.

In your humblest opinions:
[ul]
[]which economics program is better?
[]which has more name recognition out of college?
[li]which provides more job opportunities out of college?[/ul]
[/li]

I have been admitted to both schools and need help deciding. Other schools I've been admitted to are University of Washington Honors, Washington University in St. Louis, Johns Hopkins.

Thanks all!

Dartmouth and Duke hands down beat WashU in terms of grad and business placement, they are on totally different levels. Overall the econ program is far less important than the placement level and business reputation of the overall undergrad school and Dartmouth and Duke are up there near the top in this regard.

Between Duke and Dartmouth I would give a very slight edge to Dartmouth in terms of business placement, much of this having to do with special Dartmouth only internships during the year at top banks and consulting firms due to the D-plan. But its so close that at the end of the day I would choose for fit. Personally the community and tightknit feel of Dartmouth pulled me there, and I loved every bit of it.
