Any opinions regarding language and linguistics programs?

Dartmouth is home to the professor who founded the method by which practically every college in America teaches languages (Rassias). Languages are very strong here. I would guess that G-town should also be fairly strong in languages, as they have a really good school of international politics and that is basically a requirement for that.

Georgetown has the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, which is almost like abn entirely different school devoted to languages. There is nothing else like it in the country.

For languages, I think that Georgetown would be the best, and its location in DC can't be beat.
