Duke vs Rice

I need to make a decision fast. I've been racking my brain for a while, and I can't pick one over the other. I really like the atmosphere at rice and the residential college system, although housing is only guaranteed for 3 years. Duke seems to have a better academic reputation, but it seems the top level institutions have comparable academics anyhow. Houston is of course > than Durham, but Duke's campus is pretty expansive anyhow.

Can anyone give me any advice?
I'm an undecided major whose basically in the humanities/social science programs at both schools. I'm interested in political science, philosophy, business to some extent, and would enjoy intramural sports and a decent school theatre.

Also, how's the social life compare at either schools? What about career advising, and flexibility and satisfaction in selecting courses? How is Greek life vs. no Greek life?

I've already done heavy research into both schools, but I can't for the life of me seem to pick one. Help, please!!

Oh btw another quick question... if you are in the Trinity school at Duke, are you allowed to take any engineering classes? How does that work? Again, help is urgently needed!!!
