<p>Duke admit rate this year was 14.8%. Just last year it was 17%.
This is an incredible decrease in admit rate. It is certainly NOT a safety.
Getting into Duke is as competitive as getting into Caltech and UPenn. Just 3 years ago, MIT’s admit rate was also 14%.
If anything, majority of Californian CCers would admit that UC Berkeley is actually a safety
as many here are Ivy+ bound.</p>

<p>Answer me, are all Berkeley students as arrogant and stupid as you? I’m glad I’m not going there…</p>

Apparently, I am only considering Stanford and MIT, not like safety school like Duke where engineering program suck balls.</p>

<p>It is a safety school. 14% or 17% is pretty high for a private school. UCLA is harder to get in than Duke if everyone in CA applied to Duke. But again, that’s not happening since no one wants to go there anyway.</p>

<p>Good luck in Duke man. Be forgotten cuz noone even has heard of Duke except for those basketball thrillers. Oh yeah, also good luck claiming to yourself that Duke is a prestigious school.</p>
