<p>I am deciding between these two schools and I need everyone's advice. I want to obtain an M.D./MPH and at the same time be able to get connections to medical school and enjoy undergrad. I also want to do research. I got the highest scholarship in UMBC while I only got partial at Duke. But please try not to consider only money, only if it will not enhance your argument. Thanks :)</p>
<p>Well if money is not an issue then go to Duke. It’s a no brainer.</p>
<p>UMBC Its a no brainer. If you are in the Meyerhoff program you will have the support system and the contacts to get into an MD/PhD program. Duke has a bigger name but UMBC produces massive amounts of PhDs and MD/PhDs.</p>
<p>That’s so true willbephd…are you a M scholar? And vociferous I plan to get a master and doctorate and do study abroad and internships which all equal $$$…so yes $$$ is sort of an issue…but THANKS for responding :)</p>
