<p>Which is better at computer science? Overall and particulars. How is the atmosphere there? Strict? Laid back? Stressful? etc. Completely disregard financial considerations.</p>
<p>I can only speak for Duke. The computer department is very undergraduate focused and it’s easy to access research opportunities. Most Comp Sci classes at Duke are smaller than those at peer schools like Brown and Stanford (and UNC) so it’s common to establish close relationships with professors.</p>
<p>Job recruiting is top-notch and Computer science graduates go into a wide array of fields including Software Engineering, Investment Banking, Consulting, High Frequency Trading, etc.</p>
