Duke Vs. Vanderbilt

Hey guys so I'm having trouble picking a school for me (ideally to apply ED to). So obviously I have visited both schools but there is only so much you can really come to learn. I love Duke and I love Vandy but I need some advice from students or siblings of students... I play a lot of sports and I need the school I go to, to 1 have great sports (D1, good conference, good school spirit) football and/or basketball. Also, I want to study engineering and I want the program to be competitive but at the same time I have a social life and want to go to a school that has good parties and the kids know how to have a good time... I mean I want a medium/big school because I want to always be meeting new people yet I know i will be joining a fraternity and will have some better friends.

Also, I'm trying to compose my list and would appreciate a few more suggestions.
So far: Duke, Vandy, Michigan, UNC, UCLA, Stanford, Virginia

THANKS!

Both schools are pretty similar. While Duke’s bball team is a little better, Vandy has a better football team in the SEC (Best college conference, so you’ll see Florida, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, etc - but Vandy will go 5-7,6-6,7-5) and their bball team is actually pretty good (but not Duke’s level). Both schools are study hard play hard type of schools, where you will learn a lot, be challenged, but still have a social life. Vandy is a bit more focused on Greek life, but both schools have frats/sororities that make up a fair share of the campus. Both schools also have great engineering programs, they are really similar schools, ask this on the Vandy board too if you haven’t already. Also, Vandy is in a bit nicer area, but Durham isn’t as bad as people think
