umm just like national merit commended if that counts... my bio teacher keeps talking about some Bio Book award or something that he thinks i should get but that's not til the end of the year and i'm not sure what it is so it doesn't count

I guess i'm less like insanely worried because i feel like i have a decent chance, but more completely obsessed because I don't know yet and am left to wonder and spend my night on this message board. I can't wait to just know either way, you know what i mean?

Speaking of finding out... anyone know when you typically hear when they say you'll be notified "by december 15th" and "in mid-december" and they have an online notification thingy? Does that mean on December 15th? Or before? Anyone know what they typically do?

In my reason you should be accepted based on your merits. But you will be accepted for sure b/c of your legacy. The reason being is it'd be an insult to all of your relatives for Duke to reject a seemingly perfect applicant. I say "seemingly perfect," not b/c you necessarily are not but b/c there are others w/ similar stats that are rejected. But I highly doubt that anyone w/ your numbers is rejected ED w/ the kind of legacy you have.

PS No guarantees. This is Duke, but I think it's highly likely.
