Duke?

Hi everybody,

I will be attending Duke University this fall. I just found out that I got a 5 on my BC calc exam, meaning that I can get credit for Math 31 and 32. Now, for medical school requirements, some require a semester of calculus (Hopkins, Harvard, Washu, Dartmouth, Duke, and Brown, to name a few). Duke allows credit for 2 APs. If I get credit for calculus, will the above schools consider that a fulfillment of the math requirement, or will they require 1 or 2 semesters to be taken in college? I don't want to take higher level math, so I suppose if they don't I'll have to take Calc 1 again, which I really don't want to do....Somebody help me!!!!!!!

Thanks

Take Stats 103 and either Math 32 or 103.

but say for the QS req at duke, I decide to take this Stats 103 and Bio 103 (mathematical bio)...and use the APs for credit. Would this fulfill med school calculus requriments?

Not at all schools, no.
