<p>I know the college essays are supposed to be unique and should describe your personality. Unlike many people, I haven't really had any huge events that I could write about and show how I've grown. After talking to my English teacher, we decided on a relatively humorous, but important topic to me.
For years, I've been reading "Uncle John's Bathroom Readers" (basically 500 page long books of useless knowledge). The combination of humor, enjoyment, and information has intrigued me.
P.S. If you think this is a decent topic, how could I make it stand out. I'm trying to show how it has defined my love of learning, etc.</p>
