Dumb Mistake in UC application ????

3 weeks ago, I received an email from UCSD Admission that told me that I listed Math 151 twice and asked me to scan my transcript within 5 days or they will cancel or decline me.

In Fall 2009 I withdrew Math 151 and then retook in Spring 2010 amd got an A.

I immediately sent them the official transcript which includes all semester except the Fall 2011 and explain to them that because of the W so I have to retake that class. Moreover, since they just give me 5 days to submit, I could not order the new official transcript which has the grade for fall 2011.

Today I go over my application again and realize I made a mistake in listing Math 151 in Fall 2010 instead of Math 252, and thats why UCSD contacted me.

I follow the link they gave me to upload the transcript and explain again, but in the end of that page there's a sentence: "You have one opportunity to respond so please review carefully before you: Submit"

I really worry now. What should I do ?

Do they read my explanation and cancel or reject my application ?

wth? Hmmm. On my application I have multiple classes too because I got W’s from 05-07 but retook those classes from 09-now. Cant they see that its marked as a “W” on the TAU or whatever? Wasn’t that the whole point of us filling out the grades? They have not contacted me about anything like that.

No. That was my mistake.

I thought because of the W so they assume I took that class twice. But in fact its not. That was because I listed the Caculus 2 instead of Calculus 3.

Although I sent them my transcript but my explanation was pointed to the W.

Ohh I see, gotcha. Have you been accepted by any of the other UC’s so far? Because I just realized if the W thing was an issue for me I wouldn’t have gotten into UCR or UCSC.

I hope you get everything taken care of!

I guess what you could do at this point is updating the TAU. and calling tomorrow

Thanks a lot :)

I did not hear from anywhere else and also i dont think the W would hurt your application if you have high Gpa and other Ec.

Im gonna call them tomorrow and hopefully they will understand what I try to explain :frowning:
Its kinda messed up.
