When inputting the grades for UCApp, I put my grades that are A,B,C,D,F to be A+,B+,C+,D+..etc
I didn't know the difference and I know it's TOO late but I asked my counselor about the grading system in our community college. She said that we grade by A,B,C,D,E,F. (without the +/-)

Will I get rescinded from UCSD? (I just got accepted..) I emailed both UCApps and UCSD about it!

I think there is a high chance you may be rescinded. Having a + on your grade adds .3 to your class GPA (like B+ is 3.3 instead of 3) with the exception of A+, which is still 4.0. Your GPA calculation on UC App will be dropped, so call them instead of waiting for a response because they will take a while before they can get back to you.

I hope you don’t get rescinded and best of luck to you!

^ I don’t think it matters. When you’re at the UC… they go by the +/- system, but at community colleges, they don’t look at + and -s. so an A-/A+ is a 4, B-/B+ is a 3… etcetc. it will not change your UC GPA. Correct me if I’m wrong though…

Yes, you are wrong. The +/- does matter. There are community colleges that have +/- grading system. The .3 is a big difference.

Yikes, thats bad news.

Call them ASAP. Good luck!
