OK, so just took my first ever practice test from the red book. Actually only took the English part, missed 3. So I saw which ones I got wrong, went back to the questions w/o reading explanations, and facepalmed each time. I KNOW how to do every single problem, so reading explanations won't help. It's just that these dumb mistakes keep cropping up everywhere (I went through the English portion of McGraw-Hill's diagnostic in its book and missed 4 due to mistakes) and for some reason don't come up on SAT writing MC (usually miss 0-1 there). Anyone have any tips for cutting down on these?

Thanks.
