Basically, I really think I failed my AP Biology test miserably. So, if I really get a 2 (I'm really hoping for a 3...) for whatever reason, can it hurt me even though I've already been accepted? (USC Spring '08 admission here)

A 2 does not mean you "failed miserably." Neither does a 1. These scores just indicate that you did not show enough knowledge on the test to receive college credit for the course. Colleges understand this, even though most of the ccers here don't.

There is NEVER any reason for a senior to cancel a score, unless they LIKE giving more money to the College Board.

If your tests were so substantially different from your grades that the college suspected you blew off the tests, there might be some value in canceling the scores. But admittedly, your second semester grades are probably more likely to cause your acceptance to be rescinded, and colleges may take the rescinding of scores as evidence that you probably did blow it off.

So if you took the test seriously, you might as well let it go.

Did you indicate on the answer sheet that your scores should be sent to USC? If not, then they won't receive the score until after you do. If you still feel that it's a bad score, you can opt to hide it from the score report.

Even if USC does receive a bad score report, I doubt they'll rescind you. I don't think AP scores mean as much as final semester GPA.
