dumb question about alumni interview

Sorry, don't know where else to go with this question...

I'm supposed to have an alumni interview, 3 days ago I got an email from someone telling me to contact an alumni in my area, so I sent him an email, and he still hasn't responded. Personally I check my email a lot more often than that , so I'm beginning to think maybe my email didn't get to him. It's not a good idea to send another one in case he really just didn't check it yet, but if he didn't get the email then waiting would just be wasting my time.

I don't know, this is more of a common sense (which I apparently lack..) question. What would you guys do? Just wait? How often to people check their emails....

azwe718,

Wait another couple of days, then e-mail again, noting that your ISP has been having trouble and you don't know if he received your previous e-mail. Make sure you have descriptive subject line (like University of Chicago Alumni Interview); you may want to send this one as text only.

If you still don't get a reply in another couple of days, contact the rep that sent you the e-mail, and verify that the address is correct.

Thanks ohio_mom!
Now, why couldn't I decide on doing that by myself? It's true, kids these days can do all this stuff with their graphing calculators, but they don't have common sense anymore! Well, I should speak for myself. Haha.

Alright, so I'll wait a couple of days. I was hoping other people could post how long it took for their alumni to reply to their emails?
