Dumb question about applying SCEA...

I had a particular school in mind for SCEA, one school that I am desperately in love with, but under the foolish impression that it was binding, I decided I'd rather go for RD. Now that I realize this (seriously as of ten minutes ago), I want to apply SCEA.

To confirm, if anyone can let me know:
I am allowed to apply to any non-binding rolling admissions program (says the college).

So, if I were to apply at a school SCEA, it is still alright for me to apply to an Ivy, State School, and Other Awesome Schools RD even when I haven't heard back from the SCEA school yet?

I just want to get this straight so I don't make some epically stupid mistake that will change the course of my life forever. :/

ED is binding. EA is by definition non-binding. The SC part restricts where you can apply early or rolling, but NOT where you apply RD.

Yes, you can apply to any RD schools before EA decisions come out in Dec. It’s a good idea to work on the RD applications and have everything submitted or ready to go when EA decisions are released.
